Singapore visa
Singapore: most people don’t need a visa — we’ll tell you in one question
Singapore is visa-free for the majority of passports. If yours is on the ICA visa-required list, we prepare and submit the application for you. We are a private visa-assistance company — not affiliated with ICA or any government.
Who actually needs a Singapore visa?
These are the nationalities Singapore requires an entry visa from, as published by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (verified 18 August 2026). Everyone else — Canada, the US, the UK, the EU, Australia, and ordinary Chinese passports — travels visa-free for short visits.
Certain travel documents also require a visa regardless of issuing country — refugee travel documents, alien’s passports, Palestinian Authority passports, temporary UAE passports, Hong Kong SAR Documents of Identity, Macao SAR Travel Permits and PRC travel documents. Our checker covers these too.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a visa for Singapore?
+
Most travellers do not. As of 18 August 2026, Canadian, US, UK, EU, Australian and ordinary Chinese passport holders all enter Singapore visa-free for short social or business visits. A visa is required only for the nationalities on Singapore's ICA list — including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Russia and Iran — and for certain travel documents such as refugee travel documents and Hong Kong/Macao SAR documents.
How does the application work?
+
Answer one question on our site to confirm whether you need a visa. If you do, you pay, then tell us your flight and accommodation details. We email you ICA Form 14A to complete and sign; you email it back with your passport scan and photo. We check everything and submit it to the Singapore mission in Toronto. We are a private company — not a government office or official ICA agent.
How much does a Singapore visa cost?
+
$250 all in. That single fee covers the consular fee, preparing and checking your application, and submitting it to the Singapore mission in Toronto. There are no add-ons and no separate government charge to pay later — the price you see before you pay is the price.
How long does it take?
+
Plan on about 7 business days from a complete application, plus the time it takes you to return the signed form. Your quote shows a specific target calendar date rather than a vague range, but it is an estimate, not a guarantee. Apply well ahead of travel — we cannot guarantee that a mission will issue a visa, or that any date will be met.
Markham Visa & Document Services is a private company. We are not affiliated with any government, embassy, consulate, or official visa application centre. We provide visa application assistance and document services only.
