Chinese visa applications for Toronto & Ontario residents

Prepared in Markham, submitted at the Toronto CVASC at 393 University Avenue. First we confirm you actually need a visa — as of August 2026 many Canadians don’t — then we prepare it so it’s accepted the first time.

Toronto submission, local knowledge

The Toronto CVASC serves Ontario residents outside the Ottawa consular district. Jurisdiction matters: applying through the wrong mission is one of the most common causes of delay.

Our application fee covers preparing your application. If you want us to take it — and your passport — to the Toronto visa centre, drop-off is a separate $200 (our fee); or we hand you the completed package to drop off yourself.

Live in Ottawa or outside Ontario? We still prepare your application. We complete and check it, then give you a completed package — the finished online application and its confirmation slip — so you can drop it off in person at the centre serving your area. You pay the consular fee there, and we charge only our service fee.

We are thirty minutes away, at the centre regularly, and keep our own log of observed appointment availability and processing times — published monthly on our processing times page.

Frequently asked questions

Where is the Chinese visa application centre in Toronto?

+

The Chinese Visa Application Service Centre (CVASC) in Toronto is at 393 University Avenue, Suite 1500 — a 30-minute drive from our Markham office. Most Ontario residents outside the Ottawa consular district submit there, generally in person for biometrics.

How long does a Chinese visa take in Toronto?

+

The Toronto visa centre lists about 4 working days for regular processing, 3 for express and 2 for urgent, counted from submission. Add our preparation time — 3–5 business days, or 1 business day with rush once we have all your information. Your quote from us always shows a specific calendar date, based on the appointment we actually book — not a generic range.

Can you submit my China visa application for me in Toronto?

+

Applications generally require the applicant's in-person biometrics at the CVASC. What we do: prepare the complete package, verify photos and documents against current CVASC rules, book your appointment, and brief you so the visit takes minutes. Where agent submission is permitted for a category, we handle it end to end.

Markham Visa & Document Services is a private company. We are not affiliated with any government, embassy, consulate, or official visa application centre. We provide visa application assistance and document services only.
